I was so taken with the sweeping arms and back of Hans Wegner’s Round Chair, that I had to incorporate them into a chair designed to match a new dining suite. The chair blends the back and arms into square flared legs. This chair is made from solid Canadian Cherry which is carved from stacked 8/4 planks. All joinery is mortise and tenon. I use a rubbed oil finish, since that lets the natural colouring of the cherry shine though.
